January Post

The Good: Go giants!

The Bad: Boo Obama! (I'll save myself the trouble of writing a rant and save you the trouble of reading one...)

The Ugly: It's minus 40 in Calgary right now!

Politics...Yet Again...

What I saw yesterday on the news: Elizabeth May (leader of the Green Party) is going to choose Central Nova as her Riding in which she will be running in for the next election. Seems fine right? Well, there's only one problem with that choice, Peter MacKay was running in that riding in the last election.. Peter Freaking MacKay.. Foreign Affaris Minister.. The King of Central Nova.. WTF is she thinking? Last election:
Conservatives: 40%
Green Party: 1.4%
Yea, they're pretty much even.. only 38.6% difference.. wow, how stupid can you be to be running against the King of Central Nova in Central Nova.. that's like fighting a battle uphill, it doesn't work that way..

Now, some sports:
Carleton won its 5th Canadian Championship in a row
Ottawa loses to Pittsburgh in a shootout.. again...
Kimi Räikkönen takes over the Ferrari #1 position from Schumacher and wins the Australian Grand Prix in F1

My picks for the NCAA March Madness:
Elite 8:
Midwest:
Florida -- Oregon --> Florida
West:
Kansas -- UCLA --> Kansas
East:
North Carolina -- Georgetown --> North Carolina
South:
Ohio State -- Texas A&M --> Ohio State

Final 4:
Florida -- Kansas --> Florida
North Carolina -- Ohio State --> Ohio State

Championship:
Florida -- Ohio State --> Ohio State
I'm pretty much picking 1st seeds but it's gonna be close...

p.s. karl lemme in on your fantasy baseball, so i can own u... altho i hate baseball..

Politics and Other Stuff

Windows Vista came out yesterday, it looks pretty good but the price is a bit too much ($180 for Home Premium upgrade from XP). Anyways, a cool way to make your desktop look like Vista while maintaining the XP OS is to download the Vista Transformation Pack. Meanwhile, school begins tomorrow again.. I have four exams =(

Damn you spyware, I had to recover my laptop (in other words, make it so that i have to reinstall everything). Because of spywares and viruses, Google didn't work, which meant no Gmail and so I couldn't log into blogger which meant that I couldn't post.

So to the main topic, POLITICS!

Stephen Harper and his crew have started a new lineup of attack ads, they are so pointless. I love it how much of their party budget they're wasting on these ads, especially because they're run during primetime television. I'm guessing that elections are coming soon.

Is There a Reason Why They Use The Same Clips?
