Jehovah and Segway

Ok, I know everyone have exams coming up soon (I have social studies on Friday and math on Monday, but I'm so incredibly confident that I'm going to pass, I'm not going to study) but this was just one of those days.

Anyways, I was waiting for my bus this morning. It was late, again, like every other day, so this guy comes up to me. At first I thought he was going to get me to buy something, so I started my sorry, no money line. But instead he ask me if I wanted something to read on the bus. Ooooo Kkkkk, I, curious, nodded politely. And then he starts to give me a lecture on the end of the world and Jesus Christ. After a 2 minute talk, he gave me a pamphlet and moved on to another person waiting at the station. You see Jehovah's witnesses on tv all the time, but this is actually the first time I've talked to one. You know, I was quite disappointed that they're not as nutty as the Simpsons portrayed.

So, that experience was fun...but then a guy with a segway rolls past. Everyone at the station was looking at him and thinking the same thing. But man, he was fast. Now I want one...in fact, I'm going to start saving money for one this summer, after I get a job.

So that was my most eventful bus waiting ever, narrowly edging my number two: the time a hobo gave me and Ssy a lecture on graffiti, punks, and capital punishment.

Ok, that was pretty boring, so to make up for it, here's HappyTreeFriends meets the Matrix and a long HTF video with an inspirational message...

Random Ramblings

I just love alliterations...
Anyways, as the title suggest, I don't really have a topic for today. But It's been a week, so we should have a new blog.

There's a new thing to the side. It's the total cost of the war in iraq for americans so far. Now, some may use this as a weapon to criticize President Bush. But they're just being pessimestic. You have to think like this: if america can waste so much money, that must mean that the economy is booming, and that must mean George Bush is the best president ever!!!

I was at this site called new7wonders.com (it's in the places box) You get to vote for you favorite 7...constructs I guess...to be named the 7 wonders of the world. Don't know why anyone would waste their time on this, but I did.

I heard yesterday that David Beckham is leaving Real Madrid for the LA Galaxy next season...he's getting around 250 million pounds over the course of 5 years. Hmmm, I wonder why he decided to leave. Anyways, the weird thing is, MLS is only paying 400, 000 a year. Most of the salary is being paid by Addidas and AEG(anshurtz entertainment group or something.)

Oh, and Toronto got its own Mls team a few weeks ago, so thats EXCITING...

You've sat through that, I guess you deserve some videos.

First we have the talented Donald Rumsfeld.

Next up is this lame Lord of the Rings parody.

And I'll finish it off with a clip of play-doh Happy Tree Friends. But seriously, I wouldn't watch this if I were you.

Stuff, stuff, and more stuff

Wow, um... I realized that I am going to fail the Chinese school exam, even though it was 3 weeks ago, and I didn't go because I was sick, seriously. What's ironic about our class is that I am one of the worst in our class at Chinese and I have one of the highest marks.

I feel bad for Karl, he had 3 weeks without internet, I have 3 months. Wow, good thing I have rich neighbours that are too dumb to encrypt their wireless connections.

If anybody has an iPod, please watch this, it's very important, and think about it:
Wow, the little people in the iPods drink Budweiser
**Contains profanity**

This morning I watched a whole movie on youtube:
Stewie Griffin: An Untold Story
**Contains Profanity**

What I thought to be the funniest episode of "That '70s Show":
**May Offend Canadians**

And last note: Be careful with your iPod, don't get high off the click wheel of death ROFLMFAO

Empty Net!!!

Ok, I know I just posted yesterday, but this is the most amazingly embarrassing thing I have ever seen. It was last night's game between the Stars and the Oilers. By the middle of the second, it was 4-1 Oilers. But then, the Stars came back to score 4 consecutive goals to lead 5-4 in the third. Less than 20 seconds left on the clock, empty oiler net with dallas puck litterally a foot away, game over, right? Wrong! Some how Patrik Stefan blows it while trying to slide the puck in gently. Then he realizes it, panics, and falls down! Oilers come back and Hemsky scores the tying goal with 2 on the clock. Check it out.

Stars eventually won in a shootout, but Edmonton gets away with a point. One of the most bizzare games ever.

Happy Belated New Year

I would have posted sooner, but I didn't have internet for 3 weeks! (so this is what drug users go through...) But hey, at least I got some material for our readers this time. (a.k.a. Yuxuan, boyang, adam, and I)

Alright, so I only got my internet today, last night I was watching TV from 3 to 11. Caught two great shows back to back. After the Raps-Suns game (more on that later.), I was flipping through channels, and found Beauty and the Geek 3 (funniest realitity show on tv right now). It was hilarious. Not as nerdy as the first season, but still hilarious. Here's two clips.

Funny, but this guy was not nerdy enough. Glad to see him kicked out first (wasn't his fault, I have to admit, his partner was a moron: she was asked what NYSE stood for on wall street and still couldn't get it).

This next one is weird...

So after that, I switched to ABC (I can't decide if they're better or Fox) to catch the Knights of Prosperity (off topic, but is anyone else excited for the premier of Little Mosque on the Prairie?...even if it's on CBC). And it lived up to the hype. Just half an hour of hilarity straight from the begining. This video pretty much sums up the plot. Though I don't know if it mentions that the knights are robbing Mike Jagger.

For some reason, Rockefeller reminds me of Mr. T.

Alright, vid dump is over. You can stop reading now unless you're boyang or Adam.

First things first, Adam, who would you take between the two: Jovanoski or Commodore (penalty is a positive stat in my league)

Now we can head on to my random comments...

How about that 2 shutout week from Emery, and is Gerber even on the team anymore?

Sweet jumper from Barbosa to win the game in Chicago, then last night, Nash comes in and drops a fade away to win in the ACC. Can you say 3-peat?

4 point night from Heatly, hat trick in the 2nd alone: 1 shorthanded goal, 1 even strenth, and 1 pp.

TSN just sucks, it keeps replaying the World Junior Chamionships over and over again. The commentator was an idiot. He was saying stuff like how the EPL and La Liga needs shoot outs in the regular season. Doesn't he know that pks robbed france in the World Cup. (ok, fine, the headbutt and horrifically bad luck might have had something to do about it. Viera and Henry both going down in the final game of the tournament? What are the chances of that. And during ot, you could tell italy just wanted to waste 30 minutes and go to pks. That was the worst world cup ever. The whole thing was based on whether Buffon or Barthez was the better goalkeep. How is that a good way to decide the best team in the world?)

Saw the chelsea game last weekend. They looked horrible. It was a home game versus Fullham, and they drew 2-2. What was Essien thinking? A header? And Ballack, that was the crappiest clear I ever saw. And don't even get me started on shevchenko. (it seems they are turning into the yankees, how strange...)

Last but not least, here are my bandwagon jumps the past year, and my future jumps.
Most proud of my Tennesse Titan jump the second they got vince young, and I'm not getting off yet...
Anaheim ducks worked really well, and I was on before the season started. But they dropped the mighty from their name, so I'll have to reevaluate my position. The Canucks have looked great the past few games, but I think Ottawa's going to be good when they're at full force now that Emery's the starter.
Roger clemens let me down, but I'm jumping on the dmat bandwagon right now.
Last year I was on the Phoenix-can-win-with-no-defence-and-no-amare bandwagon, but this year, I'm going for the adam morrison-for-roy and Bargnani-is-the-next-Nowizki-and-Raptors-are-making-the-playoffs bandwagon. (I'm still confident that the Kevin Durant bandwagon will pay off, just need to have patience)
And despite what boyang says, get on the Tim Cahill bandwagon now!!

And that's it for now, folks. (by which I mean Yuxuan, boyang, and adam)
